Intro - Welcome Session
This is the official opening session of the Developer Track. Come see what’s new in the PI Developer Community and how you can take advantage. The session continues with a technical roadmap talk. This talk will give an update on what's going on in the development of our Developer Technologies products: the tools you use to build applications that leverage PI System data. Get the details from the Development Leaders of the AF SDK, PI Web API, PI SQL family and PI OPC Servers. We will conclude this session with our Hackathon and All-Star Awards ceremony.

Ray Verhoeff
Ray Verhoeff is the Product Manager for PI Developer Technologies. He began his career with OSIsoft as a Software Engineer and developed the PI System's first SQL language implementation. He later served as Group Leader for the PI Data Archive team, VP of Engineering, VP of Research, and Director of Development. Prior to OSIsoft, he worked for Champion International, and for Honeywell Icotron as a Process Control Engineer. Ray holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Engineering Science degree from the University of Toronto. He also completed a Master's Degree in Chemical Engineering at the University of Waterloo.

Mike Sloves
Mike is celebrating his 17th year with OSIsoft! His primary focus over the past five years has been managing the group that provides the API's, SDK's and Web Services that help make up OSIsoft's Developer Technologies stack. Prior to that, he worked as the Lead Developer on ERP Integration, marrying SAP and OSIsoft PI System data bringing even more value to business users of the PI System. He holds a degree in Computer Science from Marist.

Bodo Bachmann
Bodo Bachmann, a trained physicist, worked in the semi-conductor industry and then joined OSIsoft in 1991. He started as an interface developer, especially to work on European systems. He has been responsible for the development and product support group in Europe for several years and now leads the SQL Data Access Team.

Frank Garriel
Frank Garriel works as a Software Developer for OSIsoft. Since 2014, he has been responsible for leading the technical modernization and maintenance of PI OPC DA Server and PI OPC HDA Server. When not tending to OPC Servers, Frank contributes to the development of PI WebAPI and Indexed Search. Outside of work, Frank leads a Cub Scout Pack, is an avid board gamer, and enjoys canoeing with his family through our country's first national reserve, The New Jersey Pine Barrens. Frank started his career at OSIsoft in 2004 as a Quality Test Engineer. He holds a B.S. degree in Computer Science from Florida International University, located in sunny Miami, Florida.

David Moler
David joined OSIsoft in 2007 and spent 6 years as a developer working on the PI Analysis and Notifications products. In 2014 he joined the AF team to lead development of data access aspects of the AF SDK.

Ahmad Fattahi
Ahmad Fattahi’s mission is to enable a global community of software developers to extend and build applications for the PI System. To that end, he leads a diverse group of development support engineers and the accompanying program, PI Developers Club. He earned his PhD in Electrical Engineering from UCLA in 2008. Since then, he has been with OSIsoft where he is currently the Group Leader for Technology Enablement.
