PRESENTATION
2010 - Users Conference - San Francisco
Internationalization and Localization at OSIsoft
As OSIsoft grows in international markets, it is imperative that our products provide support for non-English speaking PI users. User interface text and documentation need to appear in customers’ native languages, the number, date and time formats should conform to country or regional conventions, and data should be stored and processed in multiple languages. This presentation will cover OSIsoft’s strategy to internationalize our products and the localization approach used to provide multilingual language packs for key client products such as PI ProcessBook, PI DataLink and PI WebParts. We will also demonstrate a language setting tool that allows users to select a preferred language for their application.
