Infrastructure for the Enterprise
What is an Enterprise Infrastructure? This session describes OSIsoft’s transition from a data historian to a real-time infrastructure. This visibility into Enterprise data offers a picture of how a business is performing. Many customers find this approach helpful in maximizing the use of PI in new environments. This transformation combines the core competencies of OSIsoft, such as customer commitment and quality products with service oriented components, to deliver even greater customer value. See how other companies use the infrastructure approach to maximize value of the PI System for the enterprise.

Tom Hosea
After ten years as an analytical chemist, Tom Hosea realized that the world of software was more interesting than the lab. Twenty years ago, he moved into the process control industry. His experience includes process simulation and optimization, expert systems and alarm management. The common thread for each of these applications has been the dependence on a real-time data infrastructure. For the past fourteen years, Tom has been involved with coding, installing, selling or marketing these infrastructure products into the process industries. He has been an active participant in this ever-changing marketplace and looks forward to helping OSIsoft and its customers achieve greater levels of success.
