Chris Crosby
Mr. Crosby is an Energy and Utilities industry executive and consultant with over 38 years of experience, with a significant amount of that experience in the role of an energy scientist with Duke Energy. His main objectives have been to enable energy and utility asset owners and stakeholders to improve their safety, to improve their operational and reliability excellence and to improve their business performance. For most of his career, he has focused on developing and delivering technology-based solutions to enable the achievement of those objectives.
In his current role at OSIsoft, his main objective is to consult with global nuclear and renewable energy clients on how the PI System real-time infrastructure can improve energy surety and energy management; reduce carbon footprint; increase asset availability, reliability and performance; increase operational transparency and efficiency; improve nuclear and grid safety; support emergency preparedness, planning and response; and save time…insuring all along that the PI System meets current and future market needs.
Mr. Crosby’s career has included a variety of executive management, operations and consultative positions with energy & utilities companies (Duke Power, Duke Engineering and Services, Duke/Louis Dreyfus and DukeSolutions) and technology providers (Schlumberger/Sema, OM Group, Invensys, Life Cycle Engineering and OSIsoft). Further, he has gained experience specific to the US Federal sector (the Departments of Energy, Defense, State and Commerce) while at Duke Engineering, Life Cycle Engineering and OSIsoft.
Mr. Crosby is a regular speaker in conferences all over the world and actively participates in organizations such as the American Nuclear Society (including international chapters), the Nuclear Energy Institute (NEI), Nuclear Information Technology Strategic Leadership (NITSL), US-China Energy Cooperation Program (ECP) Nuclear Power Working Group (NPWG), US National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL), American Wind Energy Association (AWEA), American Council on Renewable Energy (ACORE), Utility Variable-Generation Integration Group (UVIG), US Federal Energy Symposiums and Workshops, Society of Maintenance and Reliability Professionals (SMRP), the Citizen’s Climate Lobby, GTM Research Solar Webinar, SAP Nuclear Info Days, Federal Utility Partnership Working Group (FUPWG) and Pennwell’s PowerGen International.
He holds a BS in Physical Sciences (Pre-medicine) from Davidson College and an MBA from the McColl School of Business, Queens University. He also achieved his certifications as an Energy Manager and as a Change Management Professional through Prosci.

David Thomason
David has 35 years experience in applying information technology to the requirements of the Power Generation & Utility industry. He is an active advocate in the use of advanced analytics and technologies to enhance business value. Prior to joining OSIsoft, Davids responsibilities included the companys multi-market Energy Management System, Plant Analytics systems, SAP Work and Material Management, custom SW development & Support teams. David joined OSIsoft in February 2011 and has been spreading the word on the high value digital transformation can bring to the P&U industry.

Jerry Weber
Jerry Weber has over 30 years of experience in the power generation industry. His career as an engineer has spanned primarily across the fossil fuel and renewable generation sources for both regulated utilities and independent power producers. He has a MS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois, is a Fellow of the ASME, and is on the ASME Power Test Codes and Standards Committee.
His current role at OSIsoft is as a Program Manager and Center of Excellence Engineer where he advises customers on implementing the PI system across their organization in order to bring increased value to their business.

Anderson Amaral
Anderson Amaral holds a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, concentration in Energy and Automation from University of São Paulo, Brazil and a Post-Graduation in IT Management.
He worked as senior consultant in Manufacturing Execution Systems implementation, including planning, installation, and customizing to improve OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) and increase production for industries. In addition to Project Coordination and Implantation of SAP MII (Manufacturing Integration and Intelligence) and Production Information Management Systems (PIMS).
In OSIsoft since 2009, currently, he works as Senior System Engineer in Latin America, providing sales support, acting as expert to answer questions, explaining the value of the PI System and suggesting business solutions.

Mark Faith
Mark Faith is the Engineer for Reliability and Performance Systems at AGL Energy and has worked in the power generation industry for 26 years. He is also the technical owner of the PI System. When not on the back of a motorbike or trying to plumb his homebrew setup into PI, Mark's focus is on realising operational excellence at AGL through the use of the PI System and its partners. AGL's power generation fleet spans the eastern seaboard of Australia and is quite diverse with coal, gas, wind, solar and hydroelectric generation. As AGL's Engineer for Reliability and Performance systems, Mark is responsible for implementing consistent tools and reporting to improve asset reliability, availability and increase overall Operational Excellence at Australia's largest and leading power company. AGL has invested in an Enterprise Agreement with OSIsoft and heavily utilizes the PI System and its partners to achieve these key initiatives.
