Many processes can be improved through the use of predictive models to forecast events and conditions. These forecasts can now be stored in PI System 2015 to provide a comprehensive view of past, present, and future operations. Attend this talk for an overview of Microsoft Azure Machine Learning as related to the PI System. It provides self-service tools for creating predictive models using PI System data. You will learn about using Asset Framework and Asset Analytics for setting the contextual basis for data supplied to predictive models. Also, you'll see PI Integrator for BI (Business Intelligence) for extracting PI System data into the Azure ML environment where you build predictive models. And, we will discuss how you can operationalize the models by writing the predictive results as future data into PI System 2015. Lastly, we will review Power BI Dashboards and Power BI Designer, Microsoft's latest offering for preparing data for self-service BI. This is a short presentation only session; a longer version (90 minutes) of this content is also offered as a TechCon hands-on lab.
