Sandoz uses different IT systems to support and control our pharmaceutical production processes. Within the past years, the importance also to fulfill and implement different regulatory requirements as well as the expectations of regulatory authorities increased significantly for such systems. This presentation will show how Sandoz in Kundl/Schaftenau uses the OsiSoft PI System and how it helps to cope with regulatory compliance."

Alexander Haimayer
Alexander Haimayer joined Sandoz in 1998 as a Software Developer and worked in different projects and positions
within the company. Over the past years, he could gain wide experience how the IT Business changed within the
pharmaceutical industry, especially with regard to growing regulatory requirements. In his current position as Head
of Data Systems, he is responsible for the operation, development and the compliance state for a number of IT-Systems in the
production area at Sandoz.
