R has been receiving attention in the Big Data and analytics community for its enormous power to make sense out of big chunks of data, elegantly. It also provides great visuals for better understanding of datasets and their meanings. As an open source programming language it can be combined perfectly with PI System, perform sophisticated statistical analysis, and generate great graphics with reasonably few lines of code. In this presentation we will see how this integration can be done in various examples.
