This presentation will delve into the process and design behind the construction and deployment of the state-of-the-art New York Control Center. Discussed will be the PI System infrastructure and system data as well as the visualization techniques used to allow a large volume of data elements to be displayed without overwhelming system operators. The presentation will also describe future automation work being done with the PI System and the growing importance of data for real time alerting and analytics in the New York system.
