Allen Turner
Directly after graduation from North Carolina State University in 1991, Allen began work as a process engineer with Kamyr Inc in Glens Falls, New York. His process experience included engineering and field service positions with the Fiberline, Recycle Fiber, Process Control, and Effluent Treatment divisions of the company. In 1994, Allen transitioned to the role of Advanced Control Engineer and was a primary contributor to the early generation of today’s ANDRITZ Digester Advanced Controls.
For 20 years, Allen served as the ANDRITZ Capital Sales Manager for Fiberline, BioRefinery, and White Liquor Plant technologies in North America.
In 2017, opportunity and passion overlapped as Allen became the Director of Operations for the newly formed Process Optimization division in North America which leverages Industry 4.0 technologies to improve industrial performance.
Allen is currently a subject matter expert in the Innovative Solutions Group of International Paper, contributing to the company’s Mill of the Future initiatives.
