Fast-Track Lighting up your dark data with OSIsoft and Nokia
The City of Greater Sudbury (CGS) aims to implement a District Metering Solution to reduce water losses and predict water flow rates. While CGS has fiber to over 100 water locations in the area, they are still missing 40 sites. OSIsoft, Nokia and Agilis Networks offer a streamlined joint solution to tap into data streams generated by sensors and other devices in CGS’s wastewater treatment facility and distribution substations at a record speed, in just a couple of weeks. OSIsoft provided PI System, a data infrastructure designed to transform the vast data streams generated by sensors and other devices into rich, real-time insights so companies can improve productivity, make critical decisions or create connected products. Nokia provided Digital Automation Cloud solution – a plug & play platform allowing instant creation of high capacity private networks everywhere. OSIsoft’s PI and Pi Vision were installed on Agilis Networks hosted platform to enable real time health monitoring.
