The Griffith University Sustainability Plan 2013-2015 was approved on 5 December 2012, it articulated the goal of “5% Reduction in Greenhouse Gas Emissions by 2020”. Additionally: "To be a sustainable University" is one of the five key goals in Griffith's Strategic Plan 2013-2017. In order to prove these goals have been met progress toward them must be backed up by data. The PI System was installed to capture data from energy monitoring meters that are being rolled out across all 5 campuses. Griffith University is also looking at where else enabling collection, aggregation, archiving and analysis of data for campus-wide facilities monitoring will give benefits. In this session Brian will discuss the journey to the current position with the PI System for capturing multi-campus energy data.
