Extend Your PI Investment – Deliver New Bottom-Line Value in 30 Days
Today’s economy demands that we create immediate value and pay back investments in one or two operating quarters. Long-term value creation remains fundamental, but the financial meltdown has placed every dollar spent under a microscope, with only the most rapid and risk-free efforts getting funded. This talk covers both aspects of value creation. In a world that is data rich and decision-intensive, the right information system can be a strategic weapon.
Thousands of decisions are made daily, yet many of these decisions are based on rules of thumb, hearsay and gut feelings, rather than timely data and hard facts simply because actionable data is so hard to acquire! Transpara’s Visual KPI delivers actionable data and increases decision-making speed and confidence by extending existing PI data to new devices, unlocking suppressed agility in the workforce. With the most important decision-support data at their fingertips, people are able to contribute in the moment, solving problems before they negatively impact the books and making a significant difference in aligning behavior with corporate goals.
During this presentation, Michael Saucier of Transpara,Greg Kashmer from Dominion Power and Ed Yachimiak from AEP will:
• Show you how to deliver incremental corporate value in less than 30 days by leveraging your existing PI System
• Help you create spontaneous collaboration for improved workforce efficiency
• Detail simple steps for accelerating fact-based decision-making to streamline compliance, enhance safety and optimize asset performance
