Evolution of PI System Access
Access requirements, regulatory obligations and the need of various corporate groups for archived data necessary to carry on their studies and analysis have changed over the years. The network administrators and managers at Consolidated Edison have had to tackle these issues and tailor their PI System configuration accordingly while trying to limit maintenance costs and optimize the return on value. This presentation explores these issues from the point of view of system operation at Consolidated Edison.
