PI Coresight was renamed PI Vision in 2017
As the PI System continues to evolve, its role in enabling transformative change and business value leveraging IIOT, advanced analytics, and big data is increasingly foundational. In particular, the PI System is being used as a “smart OT infrastructure” with PI Asset Framework, PI Event Frames, PI Notifications, PI Coresight and the family of integrators providing companies powerful options when developing their analytics strategy and plan. New business models are evolving that offer exciting new ways to provide services and “smart assets” enabled by the PI System.
