IT organizations are seeking innovative ways to analyze operating data using newly-available Business Intelligence, Data Warehousing, and Predictive Modelling technologies, to name a few. At the same time, OT organizations have recognized the value in including these new tools to their process analysis toolkit. The PI System has distinctive analytical capabilities of its own, but it can also provide the highly-performant access to operating data required by these tools, while maintaining the asset context required to establish common ground between IT and OT use cases. In this session, we will introduce the PI Integrator for Business Analytics, a new product which provides self-service access to prepare PI System data for analysis. Whether you’re a process engineer, business analyst, or data scientist, this session will get you started in leveraging your skillset with PI System data to gain awareness and a deeper understanding of the operation.
