Using advanced data analyses in real time, Nalco recommends optimum chemical compositions and communicates the value of this to their customers. John will share how Nalco leverages the PI System and Microsoft Business Intelligence products to realize this innovative approach to their business.
Microsoft’s Business Intelligence platform is an important component of Nalco’s innovation. Microsoft’s goal is to lower the cost of BI and make it easier to use. This will enable use of this important technology to new areas, such as Nalco’s. Craig Hodges will share Microsoft’s strategy to bring business intelligence mainstream. He will explore the products, such as SQL Server Analysis Services, PowerPivot for Excel 2010, and SharePoint 2010, and what they mean to OSIsoft and PI System users.
