Deep dive into Transformer Monitoring with PI
Just like you and I go for a checkup at the doctors office, station transformers have similar requirements. Although they can't be easily moved we have to treat them as a home visit doctor would treat a home bound patient. With the use of sensor technology, data archiving, diagnostic and analysis systems and face to face interaction a proper physical, external and internal assessment can be performed relatively seamlessly. PI System plays a key component to providing the doctors bag of diagnostic, analysis and reporting tools used to turn data into meaningful information. And give the transformer a clean bill of health.
