Data Sharing in an OEM Environment
Utilizing both Virtual Machine (VM) technology and OSIsoft Cloud Services, Eli Lilly is implementing temporary PI System installations at original equipment manufacturer (OEM) sites for engineering studies, debug support and to establish a baseline for the machine performance before going into production. After the machine build is complete, the data from the OEM's PI Server are merged with the site's PI Server, which resides at the contract manufacturing site.
