The presentation will initially cover how DNV GL as a class registrar is adapting to the digitalization trends in the business areas where we are present. Why it means that we are establishing digital class inspection regimes and why we are engaging with data collection infrastructure providers like OSIsoft.
The main focus of the talk is to share an approach to discussing the foundations of good or bad data quality in instrumented data collection infrastructures using concepts and terms familiar to the OSIsoft community. The talk will explain how actual impacts of bad data quality can be traced back to these concepts and facilitate improvement in the apporpriate areas. The talk will offer perspectives on best practices.
