Cyber Security - Using OSIsoft to Become Compliant
In 2003 Northeast Utilities implemented PI at all of their SCADA control centers as a historian and application development environment for EMS system information. Building on the success of that project and wanting to simplify IT platform troubleshooting, system equipment availability reporting needs, and not to mention NERC 1300 requirements—NU decided on an IT Monitor based solution. Come listen to how the IT Monitor implementation at a SCADA control center supports imminent NERC Cyber Security requirements, the obstacles that were encountered, the lessons learned during the project, and how RtAnalytics is turning “IT instrumentation” data into actionable information.
