PI WebParts uses Microsoft SharePoint as a framework for building portal sites and web pages with embedded web parts. PI WebParts provides a dozen different web parts that give users the ability to set context and display data in a variety of formats such as trends, tables, gauges, and PI ProcessBook graphics. During this session we will walk through the development of a custom web part and demonstrate how to implement client-side connections to a PI web part. We will discuss the supported connection interfaces, using SharePoint web parts versus ASP.net web parts and client side versus server side connections.
