Connected Services Initiatives as a Smart Energy Enabler Integrating the PI System and Value-Added Capabilities
Itochu Techno-Solutions Corporation is an independent system integrator and service provider headquartered in Japan and serving a broad range of industries such as IT & telecom, finance, automotive, electronics, food, retail, academic and energy & utilities. Under the dynamic trend of deregulation in Japan's energy market, they started the unique cloud-based service called "E-PLSM" where their scientific technology and engineering capability are integrated on top of the PI System, to serve the power supply/generation side as well as the demand/retail side. As their services grow from smart homes/HEMS to renewables power generation, they have leveraged Connected Services and also have been transforming their business model itself, not just providing services with each entity but connecting their customers at both ends including academia. They are an enabler of the Smart City concept. In this session you will see how they leverage Connected Services to better align with their growing business model and further vision.
