The CMDS (Center of Monitoring, Diagnosis and Simulation of Combined Cycle Power Plants) is designed to work in "full-day" operation mode. Every day of every year, data is coming from all the IBERDROLA Combined Cycles Power Plants around the World (Spain, Mexico, Brasil and others). The main purpose of the CMDS is to reduce the maintenance costs and increase the output of the Power Plants, through modern analysis and diagnostic techniques.
Using the OSI Software as PI-UDS, PI-ACE, PI-ICE and other OSI tools, we can get the maximum performance from the data and achieve our objectives, giving processed information to general managers in time to make key decisions and improving performance.
To ensure the reliability and performance of the information and telecommunications systems we have deployed an application based on IT Monitor, named CMDS-NETMON. With CMDS-NETMON we can ensure that all systems will be running, and no money is lost due to fail overs on the IT systems. With CMDS-NETMON, the CMDS IT Team sleeps better.
