ChevronTexaco’s US Refining organization has been implementing their CommonView concept since mid-2001. This paper presents the business background and drivers, the CommonView vision and reports on work to date. This paper is a story of the how the OSIsoft COM Connector products mapped to the CommonView vision and how ChevronTexaco is taking advantage of the OSIsoft layered products such as the Module Database, PI ACE and Sigmafine.
