Amonix is the leading designer and manufacturer of concentrated photovoltaic (CPV) commercial solar power systems. Amonix started utilizing the PI System last fall and quickly developed an enterprise system based on the PI System historian software as our main framework. The PI System's ability to collect, process and analyze huge volumes of data has made it a key tool in proving that Amonix CPV technology is the world's most efficient solar power. The PI System has given Amonix the opportunity to build a Network Operations Center (NOC) and quickly receive pertinent field information and—in turn—the ability to dispatch technicians to timely address any issues maximizing uptime.
