Batch Migration to Event Frames
PI Coresight was renamed PI Vision in 2017
This talk is for PI Batch users who are looking to transition into the more powerful, more flexible and more modern PI Event Frames technology. It will go into details of OSIsoft's PI Server 2015 features that migrate PI Batch data to PI Event Frames and include demos on how best to confirm a successful migration, as well as show current ways to visualize batch events in the PI System, including PI Coresight and PI DataLink. David Casazza is Product Manager for Batch to Event Frames Migration at OSIsoft, focused on supporting customers transitioning from the PI Batch Database to PI Event Frames. Previously, Casazza was an Enterprise Program Manager and a Field Services Engineer at OSIsoft. Before joining OSIsoft, he worked at Omicron Consulting for seventeen years in implementation roles supporting a multitude of industries, including Life Sciences and Pharmaceuticals. He holds a B.A from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

David Spiese
David Spiese is an engineer in the OSIsoft Center of Excellence, which provides real-world guidance in PI implementation strategy to enterprise customers. Before joining OSIsoft, Dave worked at Merck & Co for 16 years in manufacturing, research and pilot plant environments. He has extensive experience with PI administration, manufacturing automation systems, qualification, validation and change control in the FDA regulated Pharma industry. David has a B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering from Drexel University.
