Chris Hickman
With 20 years of utility industry experience, Chris Hickman has dedicated his career to finding ways to modernize the electric grid and leverage new technologies to increase its capacity and reliability. Prior to joining Ice Energy in 2008, Chris was President of Energy Services for Site Controls, responsible for strategic vision and direction of its innovative, carbon-negative advanced energy and demand response initiatives. Prior to that he worked at Cellnet Technology where he led alignment of corporate strategy with regulatory involvement at the state and federal levels, and drove policy to enable smart grid technologies. Previously, Chris spent 11 years in executive-level positions at PNM Resources. He has experience in engineering, federal and state policy development, infrastructure planning and budgeting, environmental management systems for coal and natural gas generation plants, and telecommunications. He frequently speaks to regulatory organizations such as the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), Congress and a variety of industry leadership conferences. Chris has served on the boards of Avistar, an unregulated subsidiary of PNM, the IEEE Power Engineering Society, and the GridWise Alliance. He received a BSEE degree from New Mexico State University, an MSEE in Electric Utility Management at New Mexico State University, and an MBA with a concentration in policy and planning from the University of New Mexico.

Brian Parsonnet
Brian Parsonnet is co-founder of Ice Energy and has 30 years of experience in technology innovation and strategic business development. Brian founded successful start-up companies in three disciplines: software, hardware, and services. Most recently, he led product strategy for a top-tier growth division of Honeywell. During his twelve year tenure, Brian invented the System Health Management technology, which led to new growth businesses in the Industrial Automation and Control, Aerospace and Homes & Buildings divisions. Brian has an MS in EECS from Columbia University, with a focus on optimal control theory, and a BS in EECS from Princeton University.
