Ales has been with OSI for 25 years, in Sigmafine development, business development for metals and mining, CoE supporting EA customers, and presently in the GSG supporting presales engagements. Created demos and prototypes of how to use the PI Asset Framework and other PI tools for applications in refining, gas, chemicals, water utilities, metals and mining, power generation. Performed PI Asset Framework workshops for a variety of industries and provided technical support for Enterprise customers. Previously to OSI, worked on linear programs and simulation models for FCCUs and Reformers and performed mass and energy balances on a variety of plants. Currently resides in Texas on a small ranch with 176 animals, where he is trying to teach them Czech.

My name is Colt Hegardt and I'm a Pre-Sales Engineer focused on all the technical aspects of the OSIsoft PI System. My expertise lies in helping customers overcome hurdles unique to their business with the PI system and to empower them to make data driven decisions. Throughout my five years with OSIsoft I've helped implement major projects across industries such as power generation, mining, paper and data center operations, each with specific challenges and success criteria.
