Bringing rich information into the PI System has been dramatically advanced with new Batch Interfaces which synchronize data from a number of Batch Execution Systems and Manufacturing Execution Systems. OSIsoft’s new Batch Interfaces for Werum PASX, DeltaV Batch, Rockwell FactoryTalk Batch, Siemens SIMATIC PCS7, and others offer a whole new level of integration with the PI System. This talk will discuss the advantages of OSIsoft’s new Batch Interfaces and integration to Manufacturing Execution Systems.

Chris Nelson is a Senior Software Developer for OSIsoft, leading the development of Batch and Event Frames Products. Prior to joining OSIsoft, he worked for Merck & Co., Inc., a worldwide leader in the Pharmaceutical Industry, as a Manager in both Clinical Trial Systems and Manufacturing Process Information Systems. Mr. Nelson received a B.A. in Mathematics and a B.S. in Computer Science from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey.
