Advances in Data Analytics for Continuous Manufacturing
Merck’s journey in continuous manufacturing began with a need to capture and analyze large data sets to develop high quality and robust solutions during product development. As the product matures from the development stage to filing, proactive process analysis is critical to product success. By characterizing continuous processes through the analysis of process parameters, quality attributes, and equipment performance indicators, we can monitor key data sets to support early detection of process shifts resulting in optimized product quality and yield. To maximize the impact of these analyses, a data solution must empower scientists, engineers, and managers to collaborate and share insights across teams.
