This presentation showcases the way contemporary features of the PI System, most notably AF and Event Frames (EF’s) can be used to create data models that support data discovery through new modes of visualization and analysis. The presentation will touch on examples from saw mills, advanced mill analytics (sheet break analysis) and downstream into paper converting operations.

Curt Hertler
Curt Hertler is a Partner Solutions Architect at OSIsoft. Prior to this position, he was Business Development Manager for the Oil and Gas industry. Earlier in his OSIsoft career, he established and managed OSIsoft’s Developers Network. Hertler has 19 years in the petroleum refining industry working for Marathon Oil and British Petroleum. While at BP, he served five years on the National Petroleum Refiners Association Computer Applications Committee. He graduated with a BS and MS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Michigan.
