Pedro Neves Ferreira
PEDRO NEVES FERREIRA is Director of the Energy Planning and Corporate Risk Management Departments at EDP. His mission is to support the EDP board in integrated planning of the group’s energy portfolio strategy across the various regions and sectors in which it operates. As Chief Risk Officer, he is responsible for developing an integrated view of the Group’s risk exposure and for proposing risk-return optimization guidelines. He holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from Technical University and an MBA from INSEAD in France. Prior to joining EDP in 2003 he spent the early part of his career with the consulting firm McKinsey & Company where he participated in projects in Telecommunications, Energy and Pulp & Paper.
