This presentation covers an NTPC in-house developed application in line with CERC DSM. It uses NRLDC data (declared capacity, schedule generation etc.), NRPC data (area clearing price), data from multiple stations (actual gross generation, frequency, net export, aux power consumption etc. via the PI System) along with fuel costs, a rolling six-block (15 minute blocks) schedule generation, AGC data etc. for a comprehensive display and understanding of real-time economic dispatch. Additionally, unit start-up or trip information, unit load, environmental and emissions data/alerts, overall operation performance, and others are also available. The talk will include a live demo.
