BHP is undertaking the challenge of building a global real-time data platform that will change the way we think. Instead of creating more point solutions driven by the unique requirements of specific users, we want to empower users to create their own solutions using a platform that is simple enough for non-technical people to configure what they need using the data available. Essentially, we want to teach users to "fish" for themselves, leverage reusable investments (such as pre-existing configurations) and rely on the seamless integration that is inherently available in the platform. We wish to maximize value through utilizing the capabilities of the platform and the enablement of users to ensure sustainable and scalable growth.
