Introduction to Data Science for PI System Data for PI Professionals
Come to this talk and see how to get more insight and knowledge from the familiar datasets in your PI System. As a PI System professional you have worked with the PI System and know how it works. This talk discusses the process of a successful data science project and demonstrates how to create knowledge from data through good visualization and analytics. Some understanding of the basics of PI System tools will be helpful to follow this talk. No knowledge of data science and advanced analytical tools is required.

Ahmad Fattahi
Ahmad Fattahi is a leader of Data Science at OSIsoft. His goal is to enable digital transformation through data-driven culture, right tools, and proper processes. His technical focus is advanced analytics and data science. He received his PhD in electrical engineering from University of California, Los Angeles in 2008; he has been with OSIsoft since then.

Kleanthis Mazarakis
Kleanthis graduated from National Technical University of Athens (department of Chemical Engineering) in 2009, and then moved to London for his Master’s Degree in Environmental Engineering at Imperial College. He joined OSIsoft in 2012 as a Customer Support Engineer and since then he had been working in Technical Support and Field service, providing workshops, trainings and installations to our customers. He had recently focused his activities around the Water Industry and Data Science, being part of the Water Industry and Data Science Champions teams in OSIsoft.
