Gather: Data connectivity options for the PI System and the Cloud
The Industrial IoT is making it possible to gain new insights from remote and otherwise unreachable assets but it’s often difficult to know where to start. In addition, on premises assets and systems are being upgraded with new technologies to extend their lifecycle and must be reintegrated into the overall system architecture. To complicate things further, many operations and business critical applications are moving from on premises to the cloud to reduce IT costs. In this session, we will explore OSIsoft’s data collection technologies and how each will help you address your increased connectivity needs. We will dive into examples and demonstrate how OSIsoft’s expanded connectivity options enable you to collect and store data regardless of the data source and its location, from the edge to on prem to the cloud.
