2019 - PI World - San Francisco - Life Sciences / Specialty Chemicals
Enterprise PI and the Digital Plant (Eli Lilly)
Lilly is actively working on its Digital Plant vision. Delivering on this vision is a transformational journey and will need significant collaboration and coordination across Lilly’s manufacturing sites to deliver with speed and agility. Establishing global standards and solutions will be a key enabler to accelerate the transformation across global manufacturing sites. As part of the global vision, Lilly recently invested in an Enterprise PI license. Using concepts such as PI AF and Event Frames, the Enterprise PI is a key enabler to enforce common standards, deploy globally consistent solutions across manufacturing sites and deliver with speed, agility and reduced cost. In this session we will present the following:
How to deploy an Enterprise PI strategy in a hybrid PI environment – best practices, do and don’ts.
How AF can help enforce global standards and solutions without disruption site operations.
Energy Management project as an example of a global solution
