Digital Bridge (PI Cloud Connect) between Axens and MOL to Maximize Profit from Conversion Catalysts
This presentation will provide an overview of the vision, goals, architecture, and status of the POC at MOL for enablement of real-time remote monitoring of Axens catalyst performances using either Axens Connect’In™ solution on Gasoline Selective Desulfurisation and Continuous Catalytic Reforming units or PI System on a Hydrocracker Unit at the Danube Refinery. Key topics of data ownership, quality, solution’s functionalities, governance, security, and cyber security will be discussed to provide attendees insight to how these challenges are being addressed, purpose of this cooperation between Axens and MOL being to use the most advanced communication tools enabling to leverage unit profitability.

Máté Haragovics
Máté Haragovics is a process automation expert of the Process Information & Automation team in MOL Plc.’s Danube Refinery (https://molgroup.info). He has been involved in numerous projects aiming at operation efficiency, uptime and process safety during the years spent in oil industry. His current responsibilities mainly involve alarm management, advanced analytics and control systems. He holds a Masters Degree in Chemical Engineering, and a PhD in Chemical Engineering Sciences from Budapest University of Technology and Economics.

Márk Bubálik
Dr. Mark Bubálik graduated as Chemical Engineer MSc at University of Pannonia in 2003. He holds a PhD (2009) in Chemical Engineering in the field of motor fuel additives.
He has been working for MOL Group since 2006 in different technologist positions. He has experiences in technology development areas of conversion technologies, efficiency and project management. He was the Technology and Development Manager at INA, Croatia between 2016 and 2017. From 2017 he is the Head of Process Technology at MOL Danube Refinery. His team has been responsible for the catalyst management included the catalyst selection and performance monitoring.

After 8 years of Process Design in both licensing and engineering in Oil & Gas, Arnaud is now Project Manager for web tools and interface in the Digital Applications Group since 2013.
Field of application is focused on static simulators for training purposes and advanced process interfaces projects.
