Presentation: Data Science with R and the PI System

R has everything Machine Learning has to offer these days. The PI System can do a lot analytics-wise, but sometimes you want state-of-the-art Machine Learning, or connect your PI System data to existing applications or code. In this presentation it will be shown: - how to get your data out of the PI System and into R using the PI Web API - how to analyse, model and plot in R using this PI-data - how to load and explore PI Asset Framework-structures in R - how to write data back into the PI System It includes examples from practice with actual data from drinking water company Vitens in the Netherlands.
